Volunteering

Ibstock Junior School is looking to recruit volunteers. We see it as a 'win win' situation: volunteers know they are helping children to learn, gain valuable experience, perhaps using this to further their careers, and the children get extra support to help then make more rapid progress in their learning.

We have found that the volunteering partnership works best when the volunteer is able commit to a regular day(s) every week for at least a term. This means that the volunteer can become a valued member of the class and is well known by the staff and children. We are now taking applications for the summer term 2017.

If you wish to volunteer please download a form from the website or collect one from the office and write on your form which days and year group you wish to work in.

All volunteers need to have a valid enhanced DBS (this used to be a CRB) and will be given some training from Mr Lewin.

Please email completed application forms to office@ibstock.leics.sch.uk
