Equality Objectives

We have four equality Objectives for the school. The full details can be found with our policy on this link.

Our Equality Objectives are:

Objective 1

Improve the collection of all data relating to Equality, Diversion and Inclusion for pupils and staff. Ensure this data is analysed this presenting it to the full governing Recruitment and staffing data and trends in regard to race, disability and any gender pay gap by April 2025, and report on this to the Resources Committee of the governing board.

Objective 2

Train all members of staff and governors on equal opportunities and non-discrimination by the beginning of the next academic year (Aug 2025). Training evaluation data will show that 100% of those attending have a good understanding of the legal requirements.

Objective 3

Assess the curriculum intent for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion from staff and pupils’ perspectives and then begin to plan and make adaptations where necessary.

Objective 4

Begin to introduce the ’Everyone is Welcome’ initiative into school during the academic year 2024-2025.
