Bullying Prevention Policy Children's Version
This document was created with the children who form the Vice School Parliament; they are working closely with Mrs. Collishaw to achieve the Beyond Bullying Award.
As a group, they have met to discuss what the key messages for children are around bullying and unkind behaviour, and have created the illustrations to reinforce these messages.
Parents were also consulted on what they would find useful to discuss unkind/bullying behaviour at home; they have made a valued contribution to creating the document.
All staff in school use this version of the policy when discussing behaviour incidents in school. This allows a consistent approach, as well as, shared terms and vocabulary that all children can understand and are familiar with through lessons and assemblies.
